Dr. Ali O'Hagan joined Community Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in 2008. She is a 2007 graduate of Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed a one year rotating medical and surgical internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital upon graduation. Prior to pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, Dr. O'Hagan received a BS in Engineering from Lehigh University, and worked for several years in San Francisco for an internet start-up company. Professionally, Ali enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine including preventative care, surgery, and emergency medicine.
Born and raised in New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia, Ali is still a Jersey girl at heart. She loves to spend her free time with her family and friends at the Jersey shore, where she can be found relaxing on the beach, biking on the boardwalk, or enjoying a good cheesesteak. She currently lives in Pomfret, CT with her husband Brendan, son Theo, golden retrievers Bodhi and Nala, and tuxedo cat Pimp Daddy.
